Badminton, Dylan and band stuff
Hiya,
Music today: Playing our own stuff
realising increasingly the the names of my threads are not v.exciting. Will try harder in future. Knackered after 2 hours of pretty hard badminton. Have a mens on Tuesday then straight out to the social (!), Roses on Friday morning and then a mixed on Sunday! Well, I got my wish, I'm playing lots of badminton again :) Cant be bothered spending money going out though, with two badminton socials this week (1 for roses), spent £35 on new records I haven't even listened to yet & got another Dylan boot leg :) though the dude hasn't given me his address to post the cheque yet, so still waiting on that one.
Had a great band pracitice yesterday, in preperation for our first gig on Friday night, should be really good but coming up with melodies when you already have the chords in place is proving quite difficult!!! Argh, well, we'll have to think of something by then!

Hello to you rik!
Been a while (too long in fact) since I've been in contact with you. Things have been fairly hectic to say the least as the field season nears. Good luck for Roses if I don't see you before (which is unlikely!), try to resist making any front-page-worthy reactions or another year of taunting will result.
Will have to meet up for some beers/Python/Dwarf/MOTD sometime to catch up. In the meantime my life has also caught the 'bloggers bug' and is published at the URL below.
BTW, where is you gig on Friday, if somewhere sensible then I will endevour to see the budding stars in action. Other than that take it easy and find time to listen to your records!!!
