off to a badminton match now. Am starting to get headache from not sleeping. Hmmm. That will help. Also pulled all muscles in lower back. If i can move properly it will be a miracle. No doubt tomorrow I'll be bemoaning my losses and how my back hurts after going to my 9:15 lecture. Woophee. You can tell I'm really loving life at the mo. Wake me up when September ends

so below as promised are some photo's of my shiney new amp & speaker that is now occupying most of the lounge table & causing a headache for the neighbours, let alone Niles & I. fun. Today has been relaxed though need to get more work done. Getting wasted tonight & watching final episode of green wing (sob!) will definately be getting box set when it comes out, frickin' hilarious. Chris also coming over tonight to work on band stuff. hopefully a rehersal with all of us in the same room (shock horror gasp) will happen next weekend - horray! Otherwise today has been quite chilled for a change. Have spent last few days playing around with our new digi camcorder & already is proving a lot of fun. Niles & I are going to do something of a remake of 'Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas' - but will have to rework the plot extensively. And get wasted a lot during filming in order that the drugged up acting is authentic. Good. Chef. Ok thats about it for now, have badminton tomorrow evening so maybe can do a little better than Wednesday's performance at Sheffield. Fingers crossed.

Oh dear

Music today: none so far - been v.busy
ok apart form the craziness of mondays & my 4 hours of contact, accidently just been on ebay & purchased new amp for my bass. Am spending rest of term in absolute poverty while i pay it off. I will however be upsetting the neighbours on a very regular basis. Woophee. Video camera arriving tomorrow so will post photo of it in all its loveliness soon. Warn you now - the head is a delightful bright blue . . .

Off to badminton soon, hope my arm has recovered from the onslaught it received last week. Got matches tues, wed & sun! yikes, as well as club mon & thurs. Think I might die. Just about getting top of work after mild panic attacks towards the back end of last week. Marx isn't proving the nightmare he's made out to be, though I have only read 5 pages, we shall see if my tune remains the same by Tuesday! Going to quickly look for a guitar amp on ebay now.

yesterday was the first day of the year. we went to our college bar. i got drunk. have had headache all today. what fun. Hopefully loan check will come in tomorrow and I can start spending money like there's no tomorrow again :) nothing else to report realy as have tried to avoid movement of my head for many hours now. Go to hand my essays in tomorrow. More fun. And get my timetable, yey!

Badminton spilling out of my ears

Just a quick update as I'm a bit smelly and sweaty. Last few days have been taken up playing badminton, watching the snooker and looking forward to term starting. Finally got (some of) my money isues sorted so I should be able to pay next month's rent. Bonus. And applying for another job, how exciting is that.
On the plus side Chris came over for band pracitice last night and we figured if we did these two covers we're interested in we basically have 7 songs already! yey. Come to think of it, I may have mentioned this yesterday. Nevermind.

Horray! (Spelt?)

Music today: David Gray, Dropkick Murpheys
So I've finally finished my last essay, I'm over the moon. Going to finish typing it up after writing this. Today was spent wasting, going into town and spending money I don't have. And playing guitar. Lots. Have been inspired for lyrics and chord progressions the last few days like I can't believe. Its all good fun and suddenly battle of the bands auditions for two bands isn't sounding so scary any more. We'll have loads of stuff by Christmas, especially as I just met up with Will over a pint and he says he's got another song well under way. We'll be working on that throughout tomorrow no doubt. However what isn't so good is that I've no idea when I'm going to get my student loan and so am now scarily skint. Tomorrow will also be spent trying to aquire a job again :( Updates tomorrow no doubt. Also the new Dropkick Murphey's album is awesome. The last track is called "kiss me I'm @~*!faced" and is absolutely hilarious.

What a weekend

Music today: Greenday, Goldie Lookin' Chain
Well the weekend was crazy, Friday night saw us all have a few, Saturday and we all got battered and Sunday. . . well you can guess. So the paintballing in places was good fun, far too slow paced for my liking though, and a bit scary to start with. I felt like I was in a war zone (overlooking the fact that I was). Chris though enjoyed his party immensely (from what he can remember) and Fraiser, Niles and I stumbled into bed about 3, all thoroughly off our little whatsits.
Last night was also good, an impromptu cocktail party at the house up the road, good fun was had and more alcohol was consumed. My body has indeed suffered.
Right, I'm off to finish my last essay :(

well Fraiser got back yesterday and after the pub there suddenly seemed to be an impromptu party back at our house. When on into the small hours but I honestly don't remember too much; I got wasted an dwent to bed. The N64 was involved; that's about it. Got up far too early this morning and while I'm looking forward to playing around on my decks later, I may be in need of a power nap as well!
My second 21st birthday in as many days, today its the turn of Chris. Happy birthdaylater and then another impromptu party at ours as all his housemates are at work. Another late one me thinks. And then we'e going paintballing tomorrow and after that is the real party. Crumbs; my body is going to suffer.
