Spent morning in bed with hangover, felt wonderful. Not having to get up for work was the most joyful experience I have possibly ever had. And the social last night wasn't too bad, though had to leave early as the cheese in the main room was just apauling. Still, going to remedy that this weekend. Fibbers on friday for some indie, then brum the night after for the next drop beats not bombs party, then polly's coming up and we're going to see the levellers on monday! Crikey this is exciting.

yikes, can't even remember the last time I updated this! Well had an impropmtu gathering last night which was quite nice. Should be gettign shofts at work changed on monday so much excitement there. Playing guitar avidly. Am absolutely shattered all the time. Have to go to carl's later to register pc :( might be seeing Pol & Theo at weekend, rather than going to drop beats not bombs party in Brum. Either way will be v.good weekend :) Right, have to read a journal article now for seminar tomorrow. Woo. Can't wait for term to be over for a change. Am in miserable mood, in the land of make believe where they don't believe in me.

yikes haven't updated for ages. Shows how busy I am at the mo. Just played badminton so absolutely shattered. That means not even going to write much now. PhD application going well, may be going to surrey. Badminton ok, we remain unbeaten in y & d. and just about on top of my work so technically life is going ok. Still feeling quite down though for some reason, possibly the early mornings & complete lack of funds to get drunk with. Oh well, my fault for buying the amp really.

Haha, have written some good tuneage today. Got soc soc meeting now but afterwards am going to go home & record drum tracks, yey! Should have this new one almost done plus will start work (hopefully) on the maroon 5 cover. Will be awesome (again, hopefully). The minority bassline with a plec rather than fingers is still proving a challenge.

having already got up at 6:30, accident at work early on left me cleaning up 8 litres of milk that conveiniently put itself all over the floor. Just finished that and looked up to find it had started raining. Joyful. Weather does seem to be clearing up now however. What a thing to choose, this one's gonna bruise.

Working hard last few days, especially today. Badminton match was ok, Laura & I won 2 of our 3 matches but unfortunately the other guys lost so were looking forward to the home fixture against them in a week or two to set things straight. Also started scripting the Fear and Loathing remake last night, tis looking promising. Going to get battered tonight in view of getting up for work tomorrow. How clever.

Work work work

Music today: not a lot
yikes got battered after pub last night and possibly wasn't a good idea. Didn't get up til 10:10 and have done nothing but prep for my seminar, go to my seminar, and now going to have to go home and face more work. Still it was quite interesting, had a nice little chat about Hegel's dialectic in relatino to Marx. But that's about it for today, going to Shef tomorrow as I said so expect an update in a day or two.

Have purchased Damein Rice bootleg. Is absolutely awesome. Cover of 7 nation army woke niles up this morning after I got in from my 9:15. Badminton tonight was good. 2nd match on the trot. Won again, doing well for a change. Back has held out it seems by some minor miricle. Going to Sheffield again Wednesday for badminton then to see Sarah. Was that the name I used for her last time? Might just start using peoples proper names as is beginning to get v.confusing. Anyway, I'm going over to see my friend in Sheffield again, that's what's important.
